« on: February 11, 2015, 07:12:38 PM »
So are there genuine Honda Carb Kits available for rebuilding my 73" CB750 carbs..?
If so where...?...I see the K&L kits and have bought others but...just want the absolute best...

Thanks, Erock

You can get Honda gasket kits, bowl gasket, cap gasket, orings.  But Honda does not sell complete kits.  If you want the best though, you can still order most of the parts a la carte.  However, each part costs a lot.

For EACH carb you will need (Gasket set ~$15, main jet ~$5, slow jet ~5, needle set ~$20, float valve set ~$20)

Keep in mind that doesn't include, new dust caps, and new air screws which are going to be harder to find.  The above stuff you can still order though.

I've ordered parts from jtmarks77 on eBay before. Always good service. Good to know he is connected here. If you need carb bowl gaskets... Sirius Consolidated sells them separately and they are the shape of the bowl vs. round. I'm not sure if anyone else has these. Aren't stock round?

What ever you do avoid after market slow jets.  They are often too short.

Thanks Everyone...

I have had experience with those crap "Form your own" bowl gaskets and they suck..!...or the ones that are formed but just a bit too big so you end up cutting and gluing them to cramming them in....

I will check out  jtmarks77 Ebay....and I have gotten kits from Sirius in Canada before...Good Stuff...!

Most of all I want high quality parts...no matter the cost...I like to do things once I try my hardest to avoid crappy parts....

Not for the 750 bikes.  OEM bowl gaskets for the 550 and 350F/400F are just orings, but there are aftermarket bowl gaskets that are preformed.

I must be thinking about when I was getting gaskets for my 500/4. If EROCK wants the best parts, he should just get all OEM, right?
