Nothing to be sorry about;  I'll get another pic taken, at some point will get the project thread updated.  Frankenhonda has no shot of winning against the other three, but still very honored it's in the running!

BOTM is not so much about winning but showing respect for the work an design put into projects, and to inspire new ones.

CB750 CRF - Took this photo today, for some reason the new Kansas rain dance is me pushing a motorcycle outside.

Since the last pictures, it's had a oil pressure gauge and a handlebar clock added.

As requested, here's a summary...

I started with just a motor, then found an un-modified, straight frame. My original plan was more of a mod then resto, but after looking over pictures, I was more and more drawn to stock look. Most parts except body work and exhaust sourced from classifieds here.
Frame: powder coated, frame kit installed, tapered steering bearings, bronze swingarm bushings.

Engine: full rebuild, new bearings in bottom end, balanced crank, f2 rod bolts, wiseco 836cc kit, HD primary and cam chains, JMR ported head, webcam 41. Carbs and airbox restored.

Fork lowers polished, progressive springs, hagon rear shocks

Powder coated wheels, avon tires, all new bearings

Electrical:

Got it all together and running, my wife said it would never start! Proved her wrong, celebrated here, remained humble and quiet at home ;D I developed base gasket leak, thanks to frame kit it was a relative easy fix.

Again thanks to everyone for quick help with acquiring parts, and for all the advice! Learned quite a lot.

Great job, Dave and excellent post.

Question - how did the frame kit cause the oil leak?

If you're joking I can't tell, just got home from work and really tired. 8) Just in case not... I meant that having the frame kit made it an easy fix. ;)

All beautiful, but I thought this one was also in the running. http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=146950.msg1672741#msg1672741

I'm dead serious, too. This isn't a joke. I would vote for this. To me BOTM doesn't have to be at all aesthetically pleasing, just has to be outstanding (read: out standing) in one fashion or another.

Dave - I did not officially nominate it due to nominations being closed for May when I first saw it.  You are more than welcome to nominate it when noms are being taken for June BOTM.
