I agree and when I was younger I constantly made up situations to try and figure a respones and then try and practice the solution to see if it worked if it didn't, then modify it or throw it out and my scenario above would have been a responce that I had thought about before and I'm genuinely curious if it would have worked simply because your not setting yourself to impact but if impact happened you might have a better chance at coming out on top and yes on the rear brake. I remember driving along a snowy street with a Yamaha 175 and saying what would happen if I did a power slide so I tried it and said oh wow feet up power slide I wonder if I can get all the way around, half way there and couldn't make up my mind whether to ease off or more gas and then I dumped it, any how it's bugged me, for it would be maybe 40 years that I haven't made time or had the right conditions to find out if more gas would have allowed me to bring it around for a 360. Now of course I'm too goddam old and fragile.
