One had a big-bore HD 74 (80 inches) with solid frame and pipes that went all the way back, then up along the sissy bar, pointing into the sky. They must have been 8 feet long! The other guy had individual straight pipes with ends tapered to 1" diameter (an otherwise stock-ish Sportster) that he had specially built, and had chromed. The latter was absolutely (and loudly!) positive that his buddy was wasting all that extra propulsion by pointing them upward.:OHahahaha, would have made wheel stands easier though....
