Yet another noob
« on: October 17, 2006, 09:04:54 AM »
Hi guys-

My name is Eric and I live in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Just got a '78 CB550 that I'll be rebuilding over the winter and was checking out the Forum for ideas. Lots of great looking bikes you guys have!

Eric

Welcome.  Camera mounts for bikes (at Earache), cool.  Who would've thunk? The rideindy.com link isn't working for me at the moment.

Welcome...cool site there too...not sure I was overly fond of the deer crash! But hey seeing stuff like that every now and then sure does remind you of the crap that is lurking...and to keep alert!

<----Yup, that'd be me on my 996.

It's not really a company; unless you call me working out in my garage on the weekends a "company" 8)
I just like tinkering around with bikes and making bike parts - nothing major, just camera mounts, rearsets, pegs, powdercoating and stuff like that.

The CB550 is gonna be my second ground up rebuild - doing a Ducati 748 right now. It was a race bike and we're  putting it back to street. Hopefully. Missing a lot of parts and just taking my time.

Hope to get some "during" and "after" pics in the enxt few months. Still trying to amass allof the parts I'm gonna need (exhaust, tank, seat, etc)

Hey, welcome!  Checked out Earache, man those are crazy crashes...in the second one it kinda looks like the cage locked the E-brake on purpose  ???
