750 Frame Blueprints
« on: October 17, 2006, 02:14:58 PM »
Does anyone know where to get some REAL blueprints for the 750?  I think some real blueprints with all the factory specs and measurements would be awesome for people (like me) that want to build their own frames.

Use 'em?

Hell, man.  Frame 'em and hang 'em in your garage.  That's High Art!

Especially if it's a '78, right Duster?

This is in the factory Honda service manual on page 153. It's missing the bolt-in modification though, so I've included that part at no extra charge. I drew this up for illustration of the carving and fabrication going on with mine.

As firecracker says that is nice enough to print up large and hang on the wall of the shop...just 'cos.

I can make a 3d model using those blueprints, if anyone wants. Import into 3dmax or rhino ro whatever, can twist it around, add #$%*, or whatever/

Guys, I'm swamped with work and then there is the Barber's Historic/Classics weekend. Why aren't you all going? It's the place to be if you love old bikes and it only happens once a year!

I'll try to get this scanned into a pdf format and try to post it in the next couple of days.

I've sent a 1.4 mb scan to those that pm'd their address. If you'll do the same I'll send it to you as well. I won't have time to install the scanner to my laptop and do it in pdf. The wife is out of town and she is the computer wiz. You're stuck with me and the file I've got already scanned. For what I charge, you should not complain.....
