Hell yeah! If that p.o.s. is worth $3800 then my current, soon to be finished "Evolution" project should easily fetch $15,000 (when done) since it will be finished and complete. There will even be just the right amount of "patina" left in a few select spots just for the purists!

There were a few really  nice stockers at Barber for $1500 or less. The guy asking more like $3500 had the repro pipes and a nice restoration.

It's a sad deal when someone ties up a grand in powder coating and then thinks it has added double that cost to the value of the bike.
