Looking for references on engine builders
« on: October 19, 2006, 05:50:46 AM »
Hey guys,

I am currently in the process of trying to commission an engine builder.  I mentioned a few weeks ago that I wanted to build a high HP streetable race type engine for my CB750.  Something along the lines of a CR750 replica.  I may have found the builder, but I am looking for additional input.  Has anyone on this forum worked with Mark McGrew at M3 Racing?http://www.m3racing.com/index.html

Thanks,
Sparty

I've not had these folks do any engine building for myself, but their work looks interesting to say the least.

I have bought 500 parts from him on ebay and "talked" via email. He seems a knowledgable and honest person and i believe he worked for Honda in the US on the technical side, so he ought to know his stuff
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
