Hello from Milwaukee, WI
« on: May 27, 2015, 12:44:21 PM »
Hello, I recently purchased a CB750K7 It is very stock. I plan to make some changes but am here for ideas and inspiration. I have had Harley's and sportbikes prior to this. I also have a 53 Chevy mild custom. Look forward to chatting with you dudes.

Day I got the bike

Welcome from Oshkosh...nice products there ;D  Love that 53...how does she run? How about an inside shot of it. Nothing as free and open like working on the vehicles from that era!

Thanks, the 53 runs great it has a small block Chevy in it with a 4 speed on the floor. We recently drove it to Dubuque, IA for vintage torquefest (great time). Here are a couple of crappy shots of the interior, all white tuck and roll.

Nice interior...what is the history of the 53? How did you acquire it and stuff...was it a runner?

Bought it about 4 years ago from a guy that was getting rid of some projects. It had no interior, a crappy 3 speed tranny with no reverse, no brakes, the motor ran like #$%*. So we redid all the brakes, suspension, steering, lowered it 4" in the back and 3" in the front on drop spindles. Got the motor running good and put in the 4 speed and new exhaust. Lined the whole interior with FatMat and installed the interior. Put on wheel vintque black wheels with Coker wide whites.

Still a bunch of body work to do, but its a fun project.
