Hello from Baltimore Maryland
« on: October 20, 2006, 04:17:27 PM »
Hello everybody, I'm Dave in Baltimore.  I own two 1978 F2's...one of which is in pieces (due to a blown rod) and the other is sick with an exhaust valve leak.  I'm using my first one as practice to learn how to fix the second one.  I've been working on a few bikes for almost two years now (my own bikes and a couple K's and a CB650). I used to own a '81 Yamaha Seca 550, cool bike...I sold it to a friend in New York.  I also own a '73 Yamaha 125 AT3, this little devil rocks, I love the simplicity of the two-stroke.  I live in the City and work as a bike messenger.  When I finally get my act together I'd like to do some long tours, I have a couple friends in town and we were thinking of riding to the Barber MotorSports Museum and maybe starting a chapter of the VJMC in Baltimore City.  Nice to meet everyone.

Welcome, Dave.  Dunno why you would appreciate the simplicity of a two stroke. But things could be worse.  They could be DOHC's.  ;)

Welcome GhostRider!  Can't say much about 2-stokes except that they're silly-fast!
