CB200T blinkers not working and exhaust
« on: June 24, 2015, 09:35:55 AM »
Hi, I'm a bit of a noob. But my first bike is a CB200T.

My blinkers light up but do not flash. A bit of searching around, I do see that there might be an issue with the flasher relay. I went to a local auto shop and bought a 3 terminal flasher. However, when I got to the flasher on the bike, it doesn't look like it's the flasher that I bought. It's just a square box with 3 wires sticking out. I can detach it from the bike, but I wasn't sure how else I'm supposed to install the new flasher?  :-[

Also, I was wondering what other pipes would fit the CB200T? I want something a bit smaller than the header/exhaust I have now. I thought of just getting a new exhaust and attaching it to the header, but a bit of searching around again, it turns out the header and exhaust are attached on the CB200T. I'm not a welder or anything awesome like some of you (I wish!) so I'm limited with my options. If worse comes to worst, I could go to a local shop and ask if they can make me new pipes but just thought I could find some on the internet first.  :)
