Wire sleeving ?
« on: July 24, 2015, 09:22:29 AM »
 Hello all,
On my 76 550 there are two wires that run from the clutch lever down the outside of the  handlebars and somewhere in the harness.  What are these wires for ?  I want to cover them with sleeving.  Cycle terminal has sleeving in 11/32' 3/16, 1/4' 5/16' etc.  What size sleeving should I use?
Tnx,

Jerry

Clutch safety switch. Requires clutch to be pulled into start bike. Should be basically 2 18AWG wires. 3/16" works fine.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Related to sleeving size, does anyone know what size the sleeving is at the end of the main harness?
(At the frame neck end) It's larger than any sizes listed/available from either cycleterminals or vintageconnections.
Any other sources to get it from?
