cb550 oil pump replace = fill up with oil?
«

Hi
I´ve inspected my oil pump and everthing seems fine, but then again i don´t know exactly what to look for.
I have a question upon mounting the oil pump again, if i should fill it with oil or anything?
cheers

I would fill it with oil and try to slap it on without much spilling out. When you're ready to start it up, use the starter with the kill switch and fuel petcock off and crank it over until your oil light goes out to get pressure up and oil in the top end.
