Random 750 Facts..
« on: August 31, 2015, 12:22:06 PM »
Some things I know, some I need cleared up..

Ignition seems Hotter at 3300rpm.
Lately fouling a few plugs, sometimes it clears up on its own... But I am finding that holding at 3300 rpm... Seems to be the zone.. Can't imagine why, but it sounds like it's just arriving at full advance.. Might be part of it.

Rear wheel O ring,  sprocket side.
Pulled one off yesterday, making two hubs into one. The ring looked good, but appears to be. Halfround in cross section.. Do they come this way?   ?
7think I have seen a flat side on them maybe before, but assumed it got sliced or sheared..

 750,s can go the distance.
If they are in reasonable shape you can put gobs of miles on them.. Because I have I trust them and expect them do do so. I find many people lack the trust because they have not experienced it yet, and the bikes are getting pretty old now..

More later..  Or add your own..

My 750 is my daily driver. I recently started riding with a group called "Riders of Antique Motorcycles". They all baby their bikes, even the Hondas, only taking them out like once a year! Seems silly. I ride my CB every chance I get. That might change when I get another bike, but for now it is just like any other bike. It gets ridden! I've put 8K Km over the past three riding seasons as of yesterday.
