My Cb550, is throwing up gas, and oil under the bike when its off.

Quite a bit is coming out.
Also my pipes are black, with oil.

I just got this bike and modified it to the way it looks now.  Now its engine time, and would like to know if you have any ideas whats going on with it.

Thanks

Not sure what you're asking.  It's leaking oil, so where is it coming from?

Turn off the petcock at the tank. Is it still leaking? Does it leak from the carb bowls underneath? If so, you have stuck floats or cracked overflow tubes. Can't say for sure from that single picture....

The oil is likely leaking from the oil pan drain bolt (beneath motor), or from the left side cover beneath the shift lever (there's a seal in there) or from the oil filter housing... Put the bike on the center stand, place some cardboard beneath the bike, and track it.

What's going on? Your bike wants some love pampered on it mechanically to go with your new restyle.

I believe the gas is coming out of the overflow tubes...... when I shut the bike down to rest.

As for the oil, the back of the bottom pipes is black with oil, and oil droplets are spraying out, by the right side hole on the muffler.

Ill take some more pics and video and post a link to it.

That is probably not lol but carbon fouling mixed with condensation. A good indicator of a poor state of tune.
