This doesn't look right

This is the front stop switch 78 CB550K I'm not sure where this mounts, but this dosen't seem right. How do you route this?

on my bike there is a threaded hole in the front of the bottom fork clamp, a bolt mounts it there.

That was my first guess but I'm having clerance issues getting the switch in there. I'll try again though thanks.
