I see it as an upscale RV that is typically immobile.

The big difference are the finishes, the tiny house is more like a home whereas an RV can be much cheaper.
But not necessarily, I've seen $1M motor homes, talk about expensive sq ft living!

Only thing is you did not have to spend 1 to 2 years building a Tiny House or have to worry about having it stolen.

Just wait until those RVs become cheap enough for hipsters to afford.
Then you will see the artisan RV remodeling movement.
Williamsburg and Park Slope will be overtaken by hipster RVs.

I has already started with 70s airstreams.  One guy is turns old airstreams into masterpieces that sell for up to 100k.

We have a little RV dealer around the corner that is selling the new "retro" canned ham trailers. There pretty cheap and light. Most can be pulled by a compact SUV. Stopped by and looked at one...I think my little 63 Scout pull a few of them.  ;)

I go by there all the time, its one of my "ridding" routes. I'll snap one next time I'm over there.
