Only problem I'm seeing with that is that I'll lose travel with every mm I add with the spacer... ugh

So if I take 6mm out of the clevis, I'll still have 4mm of thickness to thread into.  Seems like that should be enough?

Reverse the clevis so the offset is on the chain side. That should move the spring outward.

There is no offset to the clevis from what I can tell.

No, Fox.  Thought a lot about the shim last night and yeah it's a bad idea.  Most likely going to machine the clevis.

Reached out last night, waiting to hear back specifics on how it mounts and if it adds any length.  I don't want to change my geometry at this point in the game.

Exactly. The clevis is offset to move shock body outboard. No change elsewhere.

I was at his place last year when he was dealing with the issue. IIRC the Fox shock is a few MMs wider than stock and they discovered this issue. Was when he was doing Fox 350 in fact...

This is what Devin sent for pictures.  It looks like I need a different config for the shock, and I'm not sure how the pivot mounts to the swingarm.  Really hoping it's not a welding situation...

Switched from clevis to eye mount. No welding only a different bolt.

Just heard back from Devin.  I was looking at the picture wrong!  It wasn't the mount that changed, it was the spring perch that changed.  He had the same idea of raising the perch, but it looks like he's done it in a way that lets the perch/spacer will overlap the shock body to a certain degree and retain the travel.

Back offers the most protection given its length. Forward balances the visual length of the bike. Middle is just that, indecisive. :)
