1977 CB400F restore

This is going to be my winter project. It has sat for over 20 years and now is the time to get it back up and running. I'm looking forward to some good advise from those here.

Nice F, I've got a yellow one too. I read in a cycle mag they only imported 4,400 77's and that was all colors. I picked up a red 76 too, not as nice but it will be soon.

Yep, 77 was the lowest sales year of a bike that never hit it off with the buying public back then...

No café. It will remain stock. Much of the restore was done 20+ years ago but it needs a refresh with some new parts such as tires and tubes and the front brake needs to be rebuilt. 20 years ago I drained the fuel, removed the battery, and put a fresh quart of engine oil in the gas tank and there it has sat--on flat tires now. I'm looking forward to getting after it in January and taking it down to the 40th annual Idaho vintage motorcycle show in Caldwell ID on March 20, 2016. At least that's my plan for now.
