Looks like the Sun (rims?), is shining on you.. Hah ..looks like those cuts were already done to that head..
Man I would be playing up the 69 Honda 4 think to the max if that hits the track..
I got a 10*** case that is cut for 1080 , needs a few small welds... .Yoshi rods breakup rather than eat thru your cases.. It had I think powroll pistons in it..

I meant he built it in 1970. I'll ask about the trike. He was a tool and die maker, so was his Dad and Grandad!

Well, well. You scored Another treasure trove of Sohc parts. My luck isn't that good. Since the valve cover is off, I see you went in deep to investigate. Hopefully you're satisfied with what you found. Time for me to start searching for a complete motor again. I'm going to need some parts and pieces so I can maintain what I'm currently running.

Good job Bill. Nothing better than coming home with a trailer load.

No ,the engine is still together from the old days. Those are pics of the build. Said he used 450 pistons....real interested in that...17mm pins...but he could make about anything! He built several trikes and custom bikes/choppers. Yes Medyo, I got more Invaders and a nice Girder with a 21 on it!

Jim, yes. Came through Jeff Sutton, his quote was" if it was Kawasaki stuff, I'd bought it", so I called Bob and we put it together last weekend. Here's a pic of my mask after an hour or so upstairs......where the good engine and another 101xxxx engine came from and lots of parts! Used rope and a board screwed to steps...just me and Donnie. Lot of hard work, 2 days, finished at 3pm Sunday, then drove 12 hours home from Ft. Lauderdale. Still got to unpack trailer!!

Will let you know when I can get down that way. The junk pile head rebuild is completed thanks to you and the new valves. Just need to get to the machinist next week to pick it up. I'm going to start figuring what other parts I might need after that happens.

You know you've got a hoarding problem when you have to rent a storage
to keep your stuff cause there's no more space at home!. Now you've got more room to buy more stuff so you can hoard all over again . Lol.
