OK, I'll throw down the gauntlet to the machinists among us...who will be the first to make one like it that actually RUNS!?
There used to be a young machinist at the machine-building place I worked for 14 years who did this very thing. He started with a Sterling engine (which ran from hot water he would heat in the microwave, then pour it in, and away it would go, for 30 minutes, very cool). He made a miniature V-6 engine that ran for a little while, but the oiling system was total-loss, so it finally burned the bearings and quit. He was working on a 1/10 scale of a Ford engine (I've forgotten which one) when I last saw him. I teased him about making a 750 engine, but he wouldn't take me up on it.
