Topic: Securing a bike to a trailer

I don't mean tying it down, I mean locking it so that criminals can't just roll it off the back and make off with it.

I'm not trying to replicate Fort Knox, but if I needed to at least make it difficult to make off with a bike - how would I secure it to the trailer?  My first guess would be chain and a padlock.

If it matters this is my CB550.

Most trailers can be secured with a padlock.

The trailer I understand, sure they sell hitch locks.  I'm referring to the bike itself.

They might not be able to disengage the trailer from the ball, but it's easy to just cut the straps and roll/carry the bike off.

I guess a chain and lock around the front and rear tires would suffice.
