In any market that matters or has power, Cafes are dead.
Sure some small pockets are only just jumping on the bandwagon, but the trend setters and leaders have found a new game to play.

And I've sold things on eBay before. Many times the auction ends and the people don't pay up. So just because it ends doesn't mean it sold for that much.

I have sold on eBay this doesn't happen very often. It has never happened to me you guys are just making up things to just say you are right.

Haven't sold a bike on eBay but I've sold bike parts and other random things. The auction ending without a buyer happened quite a few times so I switched to a fixed price and just let it ride. Maybe it just doesn't happen to higher priced items...or maybe people just have a hit out on me and want to ruin my auctions.

I shouldn't have said "many times"..."quite a few times" is probably better.

Vintage bikes are a niche not many people like them the way they are. This forum brings in all the hardcore vintage collectors so I can see why there is a lot of backlash.

Before their new fee structure, I would just use ebay as a form of advertising.

I would like the bikes and then add my phone number in the listing. I would get calls and sell outside of ebay all the time and then take the auction down.

These days you cant get away with stuff like that as easily.

Green bike sold for asking price. I feel confident the F bike will bring asking price....or possibly more on eBay. Or I may just keep it.

I'd have a VERY hard time getting rid of that F...I can remember seeing that bike new when I first got my drivers license but sadly like most teens of that time it was girls and cars. :)

Don't be too rash, that will be tough one or nearly impossible to replace at least at a reasonable price.

Cheers,
Kenzo
