ok,
 i've looked all over for the right sizing for the gas lines from the bowls to the ground (over flow lines) and also from the gas tank to the carbs and only could find 3.5mm..does that sound right? (Ref #23/32

 Also need to know what size the oil tank lines are (Ref #7)

 And the breather line from the top of the engine (cant seem to find a pic of it)

I had lines on the bike that i replaced but they didn't seem to be the right size to hard to get on and had to be cut to get off.

Petcock to carbs is 5.5mm ID. Im not sure about the float bowl drains, but the line is smaller than the fuel lines. 3.5 sounds right, but im sure someone that knows for sure will chime in soon.

I dont know if you can buy standard fittings for the oil lines, I run the original ones. A search should give you some ideas there. Ive seen people crimp new braided stainless line onto the original fittings.

OEM fuel line is 5.5 mm from the petcock to the carbs, and 3.5 mm for the float bowl overflow drain tubes. 4into1 sells all this line fairly inexpensively, and you don't need much for the 5.5 stuff. Some guys like to use 1/4" fuel hose for the petcock because it's more readily available, it just doesn't fit as snug as the 5.5 stuff.

5.5 is OEM, I use 3/16" for the fuel lines right now- snugs on tight  -  1/4" is too big.  I've also used regular auto windshield wiper hose for the overflow tubes.  They're not gasoline-rated but there shouldn't be a lot of gas running through them anyway.

+1 on the 3.5mm 3/8" ID being a snug fit. Picked some up yesterday. You'd think a friggin Honda dealer would know but they didn't so I took a gamble. I have what appears to be 5mm ID on my other F that I got from my usual Honda dealer.

Thanks guys. One more question anyone know if there is some type of reducer you can buy for the gas lines? I've got a legendary gas tank and I think the fitting are 1/4 and I've also got quick discount that are 1/4. Any thoughts?
As for the oil tank lines it's just the breather tube. Not the oil lines them self.

You could probably get away with 1/4 for the fuel lines if you use clamps on the carbs. A 1/4 to 5.5mm reducer sounds hard to come by. I used 1/4in tygon line from motion pro before going to the oem line. Didnt leak at the carbs but it would leak at the petcock even with clamps, which is why i quit using it.

Interesting. Maybe the Motion Pro stuff I was using didn't seal as well or something. It was a lot more flexible than fuel line from the auto parts store. Not doubting you, I was just curious.

The PO of my bike had put new 1/4" line on and it leaked like a sieve - at the petcock, at the in-line filters he installed - gas running all over my running engine.

 My 1/4"  leaked too. I bought some dark grey tygon from my local mom and pop shop, it shrank seriously and got hard as a rock. Not the correct formula of tygon apparently.

Actually,my 1/4 hoses are rather tight.its gates hose if you want to try it

Go to a Tractor/equipment repair shop and get some Tygon. Self clamping and very flexible. For the overflows you can use anything that fits. Not much gas should go through the overflows.

My local Honda shop didn't know the correct 5.5 size another guy heard us talking and said sure we have but not for your Honda. It was listed for there snowmobiles ;D ;D So now you can expand your search when at your local shop a lot (most) of them just don't keep there computer stock updated.
