Topic: Honda k1 engine & frame numbers .

Hi there
I am in the process of buying a restored k1 honda cb 750 .
Just curious of how far apart can engine & frame numbers be apart I have read it could be thousands & is it possible for a k1 to be a1970 model . Any reply would be great .

My 11/70 build date Is s/n 10678xx e 10682xx. That's about 400 difference. I dunno how it's done in Oz, but here in Michigan the bike was titled when it was sold in 1971.

Thanks for your reply , I have researched the internet &'export models where know to be 1000,s of numbers apart which verifies the numbers on the particular k1 I am buying .
I will take delivery of bike late march & will post some photos , hope all is well .
