RIP Lemmy
« on: January 09, 2016, 05:28:00 PM »
I know it was a couple of weeks back but I was away on holidays,    I had the pleasure of meeting Lemmy and the rest of motorhead and drinking with him for a couple of hours after a gig in Brisbane in the early 1980's, he wouldn't let me buy him a drink but he bought mine for the rest of the night, he gave me guitar picks, drum sticks and told some very funny stories, it was everything for a young aspiring metal head musician, a night i'll never forget..
RIP Lemmy Kilmister, the world will be poorer for your loss, A truly nice guy...  :'(

As I'm fighting against cancer myself I always get touched when some celebrity die because of it. It reassures on my opinion that money helps little with this.

That being said, I couldn't help but laugh when I read the press statement: "..after a short battle with an extremely aggressive cancer".

C'mon, he new about his disease two days before! He didn't even had time to fathom what was to come, let alone get psychologically ready for the fight!

I wish he would have had more time. You need to pay some dues and ask for forgiveness to somebody, and people need to tell you what they feel about you. Once that is done you can face the therapy with the peace of mind that regardless of what may come, you have your things arranged, the things that matter at least.
