OK it's good that you have them numbered by cylinder, because ideally they should go back into the same positions as you took them out of.
The size markings can be hard to see, they're marked on the sides where the caps meet the rod, should be marked on both sides of the parting line.
These are faint etched numbers, there's barely any depth to them at all, not like stamped-in numbers.
Further confusing things, one side of the rod is marked with the size numbers but the opposite face is marked with weight codes and/or japanese characters.
