Found the site a few days after getting my 550 f1 home. Had heard of the 400/4 and 750/4 but my 550 was the first time I'd seen one. The bike was a bit boggin when I first saw it but had to have it. Like so many others have to say this site is invaluable.

I must have read every thread on the old board greenspun. Made me fee like I could fix anything on my K8. I do agree the info was easy to find, because it was a list. The search engine here works fine though. I spend a lot more time goofing off on this forum and it has personally made me feel like I belong to something very large. GLENN YOU HAVE DONE SOMETHING GREAT FOR HONDA. I hope someday they notice that.

I am fine, have been busy setting up the shop, and still working hard to get it up and running.

Life is getting expensive over here, government is taking more and more tax.

Finally (a couple years ago...) stepped up to a 750 to add to the stable.

Nice to see the old crew checking in...

I found it while searching out specs on carbs for my cb650sc
finding I'm not alone in restoring these bikes ,is wonderful.

I was just browsing one day, looking for anything relating to the old Hondas, when I happened upon
it. I've seen a few other motorcycle sites and this is the BEST by far!! And it just keeps getting better. Before I found this site, I was mainly leaning toward concentrating on my CB77 and the CB450s that I have, but now I'm really wanting to get my CB500k and CB550K going as my interest has increased toward them. My 74' CL450 is running close behind them though. Keep up the good work guys.

The mailing list has gotten pretty quiet these past couple of years. I feel pretty bad about that and wish I could do better to link the forums and the mailing list, but it really seems that different preferences come in to play here. We don't hear as much from the Euro crowd, though there are a few who appear here from time to time. As Bryan said, I'm glad to see you guys check in here. Next time I'm back in Europe, I'm stopping in to see you, Rene. Promise.

Found the old forum ages ago, left it for a while. Advertised my bike for sale on it once (luckily no-one bought it I didn't really want to part so I priced it waaaaay too high!!)

I saw it mentioned in a CB750 article in "Motorcycle Classics" magazine, called "Classic Cool". First I bought the bike, then I joined the site. Info here has already been invaluable, as I wait for the Haynes manual I ordered.

I found the original mailinglist while trying to find help for my then 'new' CB750. Then next year (1997) I organised the first WER (Linda Julien, Axl Griessman, Rene Van Maanen and I). I hung on to the List for a very long time but recentely switched to the forum.

As For Rene. The Dutch sohc4 community has its own closed (you have to be Dutch to join) membership club. Rene was one of the founders, but I have heard he left the club. He is 200% into his classic bike company witch from what I hear is doing quite well. I have sent him a few mails but never got a reply. You can find Rene at http://www.honda4.nl/

Told my son that I was putting my old bike back on the street and asked him to answer some questions (He is a true biker buff and wants to open his own shop in Southern California when he gets out of the service). I found a web site for 2000 and up Honda owners who were stuck up and would not respond to questions. My son spends much of his off duty time surfing the web for bike parts and accessories and he came across this site. I can truthfully say that the knowledgeable members here got me back up on my two wheels and I am very gratefull. Keep up the excellent work.

well i first saw it a year or 2 ago as a chatroom on a site called everywherechat.com........I owned well still do a room on that site and I saw SOHC chat in the room list, so there we go trust a female to see that.
