My mistake

Honda CB 650 Z 1979
But I think that number is in the same place(?).

On saturday I drive to guy who want to sell one. Wish me luck. Any advice??

before saturday, try as many bikes as you can.
actually, take the rest of the week off, go see any bike you find advertised and are interested in, and try it. i'm not joking!

I reckon a CB650Z is an excellent choice. I've restored one, easy to work on. Parts aren't so scarce except for exhaust. From memory they were rated at 63HP from 630cc and could easily run with (later) 750Ks.

I would recommend the 1979 CB650 or the #3 listed CB550 -- as long as they are runners.

The CB650 will have the same weight but a little more power, so it may be the better choice to grow with your abilities.  It also comes with electronic ignition stock.

The 1979 is probably the best looking 650 model.  The 1980-82 models look more like cruisers.

I echo what one of the other members said.  Try to buy a mostly stock, running bike.  It is more important that you get time riding your first bike than having to restore a non-running bike (not a good first-time experience by comparison).  You will have plenty of opportunity to work on even a running bike with maintenance and upgrades.

i don't know about poland but over here (netherlands), 650s are somewhat under-appreciated compared to the 750 and 500/550. that makes them and parts for them a bit cheaper.

all those bikes you find... try them all! that will give you a direct impression of the differences between models and individual bikes, will make you better at deciding which is the right one.
generally i agree with the previous advice to look for one that's in as original a atate as possible, and as un-molested as possible.
