14mm Locking Washer ?
« on: April 06, 2016, 08:44:51 AM »
Missing this 14mm Locking Washer behind the Plug or Nut on the end of the counter shaft that has the adjusting screw for the chain oiler. Is this locking washer needed or can I use something else? Part # for this Locking Washer is 90433-300-010.

Basic common sense is that a locking washer is there for a reason...

I should of said I realize that it's needed, but if I unable to find one what have you used instead? Was thinking about using Lock-Tite.

There are some on eBay using your part #. Various prices. David Silver says discontinued.

Thanks Chichi,  Saw a few. Found one that's not badly priced with shipping expense. Was looking for as less expensive alternative but probably not the best to deviate from the factory washer.
