Honda CB Bar End Mirror (throttle side).
« on: April 11, 2016, 12:44:07 PM »
Hi there. Im a n00b and my 1972 350 Four was just finished. I designed it and, since I have a 5 month old and not a lot of time, I had someone built it to my specs.

It is now back in my hands, and since my 5 month old has settled down, Im putting my hands on the bike.

Like I said, this is my first bike and its all new to me. Ive built more than a few vintage cars in my time, but this is new to me.

I have a CRG LS 3.2 mirror on the clutch side: my builder put it on at my request.

I decided after picking the bike up, to get the same mirror for the Throttle side. However the throttle body seems a bit long. What can I do to get the Bar End mirror on? Or what is involved?

Here is my bike. Top is "after." Bottom is "before." and yes I chopped it up.

Loosen the brake lever clamp screws and the throttle/switch clamp screws and move everything toward the center.  Tighten.

If there's no room before the bend, then take off the grip, cut down the throttle tube, reinstall grip or a shorter grip.
