I'll bet it's hiding out behind the Mustang only because it isn't in good enough condition ( for you ) to be in the same line as the finished bikes right? Don't worry , that is a collector's trait. When it's all running, pretty and polished ,it'll be right there with the rest of them.
And look at all that visible concrete floor! No hoarder would have that much space showing. Why there would be pieces and parts of ongoing projects all over it. The areas near the walls would have finds, forgotten projects or future projects that you will never start or get back to . The Mustang would be housing smaller parts or complete engines in the trunk.Fuel tanks hanging from the rafters, engine parts in crates and on shelves, rusty rims that you just can't part with because you may need a hub someday, Twice as many taillights than there are bikes, and let's not forget the rusted out seat pans with weather beaten foam with chunks missing that you're thinking might come in handy.
CycleRanger, I think it's fair to say that you are a collector and not a hoarder according to the single picture of the garage, Now, if there were pictures of other storage buildings, caves, and a blue tarp covered backyard in addition to the garage photo, hoarding may be suspected.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
It's such a fine line really, and does it make any difference?
I was thinking about this a while ago, if we were able to , wouldn't we buy as many as were available? Has nothing to do with the amount of what we want or need , but if your income would allow it and the price was always right, would any of us ever stop buying them? If the question is" How many is enough?" and the response is" Well, how many of them are out there?", then , I think it's safe to say that there may be a hoarder issue........ but then, if we rebuilt each of them, kept, love ,and displayed them......would we not then be collectors?
Such a fine line.
