79 CB650 SS brake Lines
« on: April 29, 2016, 12:21:28 PM »
Hello,
I am need some advice on where to order SS brake lines. I have a 79 CB650 with a 79 GL1000 Front end. Also I am running Clip ons. the original line from the MC to the spliter is way too long. the lines from the spliter to each caliper is exact length since they are the original ones that came on the front end.
I am also on a pretty tight budget, if anyone can recommend some budget friendly SS lines or website to check out, that would be great.
Thank you

Shaun at Slingshot is a member here, and has done SS lines for many of our bikes.  Send him a PM or email.

Looks like his site is closed  :-\  maybe others have a status, or other options.

Also, to save money you can ditch the splitter. If you're replacing the old rubber lines anyway you c an save money by getting fewer lines. Not sure if your GL front end had dual disc but in any case, you can lessen your line purchase by 1.
