Howdy from Austin, TX!
« on: May 01, 2016, 07:20:45 AM »
Hey folks, I'm Dave, and just picked up a new project bike, a 1975 CB550 Four. Looking to have a lot of fun with this one, and I was told that this is the best place to be for knowledgeable people.

This will be my first vintage bike project! I'm so excited!

Welcome from Lake Travis Dave!  I also have a 550.

Can show you some great roads out here once that bike is running.

Howdy from Dripping Springs!

I don't know who's spreading those rumors about knowledgeable people being here.....

Ok, maybe there's a couple but they mostly lurk.  ;)

Take some photos of the bikes for us and go download the shop manual here:

Welcome!
Here's the one like yours that I just finished.
Well, actually...it's a 605cc, but it started life as the CB500...
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Neat paint scheme.
