Hello from the great PNW
« on: May 02, 2016, 11:27:12 AM »
Justin the newbie here, been shopping for a CBXXX for the last few months...i'm coming over from sportbikes. I havn't found the right bike yet (or it hasn't found me) but I have looked at a dozen or so, thus far. looking for a CB550 for myself and a CB350 for my wife (I think)...haven't had the privilege of wrenching on a bike before, so i'm pretty stoked about it. I have always turned my own wrenches on my cars and trucks. TOTALLY new to the CB scene, as my username implies. you guys have already proven to be a wealth of knowledge and I am exited to be here!

Hello,

The search, how to balance price for a bike in show room shape versus inexpensive one that will be a work of dedication.

Welcome.
Lots of bikes available on CL these days.  Quite a few are overpriced, but deals do come up, and go fast.
Have cash and the ability to get it NOW.
The cheap ones need the work. Dont expect to be riding right away.
Fixing these bike is not difficult, but it takes time.  Everyone here is really helpful.

I'm Rob, up in Mill Creek/Snohomish.
PM me if you come across any listings you want an honest opinion on.
