1975 Honda CB750F Shifter Springs
« on: May 12, 2016, 05:37:46 pm »
Trying to assemble the shifter.  Does the shifter stopper spring go above the tab or below the tab.  See pictures.  Picture 5143 shows spring above the tab.  Picture 5144 shows spring below tab. Unable to find clarity in the parts diagram, shop manual, or YouTube.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

I finally remembered to go back and look at my pictures taken during the disassembly.  It clearly shows the spring tang does not go above the tab.  So it must go below it.  Thanks all for your comments!
