I only have a used air filter and some new gaskets in stock but I did get two 7' industrial shelves and 14 totes for my used parts. I do have a rolling frame on a shelf and a bare one hanging on the wall.

It is better to have it, and not need it, then it is to need it, and not have it.

That is a must when using these old bikes! If something is in need of repair it must be fixed ASAP. Can't wait  a week or 2 for parts. Several sets of plugs and valve cover gaskets must be in stock!!

I have some Honda labeled bags and boxes in my garage too. Plus 3 extra sets of cam holders plus extra rockers with shafts. Plus some hotter cams. I had to test them ;)
NOS seat, both fenders, alternator cover. All parts for front end (not tripple tree) both tubes included, everything to make my bike to stock look. NOS rear lamp, blinkers etc etc. I ordered everything I knew I have not replaced on my bike. NOS TEC points ( 3 sets) a box with 10 NOS capacitors (Koyo), NOS K0 carb boots (got wrong when order 1987)
10L Red Line oil (I have to order from UK), 5-6 oil filters, new oil filter bolt.... most of the o-rings extra cables for tacho, speedo, clutch..These are cheap if order from right place. Old NOS locally here cost tripple, plugs double

Most NOS, some Yamiya aftermarket.  Complete gasket set, engine oil seals set, extra 65mm head gaskets (3), 68mm head gasket plus MLS of both diam...
2 used clutch sets, extra prim hub with new rubbers inside for old clutch type.... 836 and 900 cylinders, old ported head in neeed of new guides and valves which I have too...
Soon all parts for my K2 cases that can use K6 carbs or smoothbores.
3 extra tank sets, one is in freedom green metallic and look very good with fresh paint and all trims, badges.
Old tank body in fiberglass, Muscle Machine from the 70's.  2  4-1
I have more stuff than this..... It is too easy to look for more on eBay or getting ideas on this forum!

I ordered extra ign wire and plug caps last year when I found dynatek grapite wires to be a bad choice.
I'll see when the parts will enter the bike. Last winter was engine modification and dual front brakes only.

You reminds me about ordering new plugs. Some sets of NGK D8EA. Carbs running rich or oil leaking head gasket consume sets of plugs. Extra drive chain with sprockets too if I'll find for good price.
eBay time looking for CB750 parts and plugs... ;)

EDIT: Just ordered 24 NGK D8EA, the only plug my bike like! ;) From UK with low shipping cost £2. Plugs cost double here in the few places selling them. Back in the days in several Gas stations that today sell more food and fast food than car parts.

I don't want to waste storage space on items I can pick up any day at the local parts store.

But I do have 10 spare racks of carbs on the shelf!

Wanna make a trade?  I got pd46 carbs with my parts motor, but my 550f runs 69A's

I went to Super Chevy at Cordova Dragway Saturday and Sunday and sold $1100 in race car parts. My wife is so proud. She doesn't know I made room for Honda parts. And I bumped into a guy with a stock exhaust for my 74 cb750! Woo Hoo!!!

The time to buy is when you see it!  First rule of restoration - why buy one when you can get 2 for twice the price.

I have 2 complete engines for a the 550, aside from the one I already have in the bike.  Never know when I'll need to scavenge something from them.

I finished restoring my CJ360T but I still have a mostly complete parts bike I just can't quite let go of taking up room in the shop. I need some covered storage outside.  No, wait, no I don't... :o ;D

I'm presently downsizing my storage to ultra-minimal and will do my best to keep it that way;I know it's better to sell/give the stuff to someone who will want it right  now.
I'm always able to find the parts later if I'm persistently patient.,the stuff has a way of 'coming back around'   ;)

:D :D LOL!

Yes I have the hoarder genes - I have one leaking fork seal, the davidsilvers website was showing only ten left so I bought six cause, er you never know right?

I recently made my enormous spare parts collection a bit easier to live with by adding another dedicated parts storage shelf unit to my garage and hanging parts via wire hooks every where I could find available wall space. If I can cramm in one more shelve unit I think I can get everything stowed out of the way except my two spare engines...

Can never have too many spares.
My partner has this theory called the magnet theory where there is this big magnet in the garage and it allows things to go in the garage but wont let parts leave the garage she brings this up anytime when I say im going to sell some stuff but I never do :-)
