Have an issue with the 335 Webcam for my CB550. The cam card specs are 102.5 for the intake lobe center and 113.5 for the exhaust lobe center. When I set the intake at 102.5 the exhaust is at 102! Checked and all the cylinders are similar. Called Webcam and was advised the 335 is a Kenny Harmon grind. Kenny was half of H&C Cams and a go to guy in the 50's and 60's. They advised the specs were supplied by Kenny and they could not confirm the accuracy. As long as I had the piston/valve clearance it was OK to run it.
I did some checking and nearly every other cycle cam I checked has the same lobe center for both the intake and exhaust. Could not find another cam with an 11 degree difference. Not sure if I have a "bad" cam, the cam card is wrong, or something else is going on.
Appreciate any feedback
