087a's, which I have heard are virtually identical to 022a's.

I have a sort of similar set up engine-wise but with straight to ear puncture Carpy 4-1 mild steel pipe,  cb650 cam and 600cc CruznInImage/ebay big bore kit, stock intake (ported), pro 3 angle valve job (OEM valves), stock filter box.

Pd46a carbs
Using 105 MIKUNIs which was just dumb luck to find they are better (long previous post I did here on that last year at some point).  42 pilots, 1.75 turns out seems best, needle shimmed higher/richer than OEM.  40-42mpg. Maybe it makes 10% more than a stock bike all in = no idea, didn't dyne before and after... but it FEELS REALLY QUICK...haha.

I recently restored and sold a 77 cb750f, and am nearly finished with a (former basket case) cb750k5.  This is a place to share, learn and enjoy.  I am grateful to and for 99+% of this site's membership.
