630 chain conversion
« on: June 01, 2016, 04:17:47 pm »
A question for you all who have done the 630 to 530 chain conversion, did you use sprockets made for earlier CB750's?  Will the 17 tooth front JT sprocket for an earlier cb750 fit a 77 750 F ok?

Thanks,
John

Thanks, Prokop.  Do you recall the # of chain links?

Depends on your combination, I run 17/48 and I am pretty sure it was 102 links.

I tried my F0 102 which was too short on the converted F2 arm. Ordered a 110 and cut it to 104. 17/48
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)
