Thank you Google
« on: June 02, 2016, 07:23:18 PM »
I would like to thank Google for employing, indirectly, my son as an architect to build/design/update their offices in Manhattan.  They seem to be a great company to work for and even sub-contractors are treated with respect; something not often seen these days.

Wish there were more companies out there like them.

These new companies are far smarter at getting people to work harder and smarter by treating them well. The older Companies think they can abuse people with impunity. They will find out differently in the near future.

I sure hope so. Recently (3 years ago) I was watching a local business  forum on the television, and they were talking openly about how to keep out businesses that paid more than minimum wage as they would have to compete for workers and probably pay more per hour. The local businesses around southern Vermont totally scuk it.! Google was not one of the participants.

This is the company he started while in college and hopes to have as a legitimate business, (ie. no more free work, so they can legally bill people for services rendered) once  he gets his Masters in architecture.
