75 400 four petcock. Question
« on: July 02, 2016, 08:12:33 PM »
I have a Varnish blue. 40. Tank with flipcap, I think 75. Male threaded bung,  maybe 20 mm.
Thinking of running the tank.. Would the petcock off a 75 planet blue 750 tank fit?
I am thinking maybe same thread.
Tell me if you know or better yet, measure nut size on a 400-4, then I can compare to mine.
The petcock is the type with the taper inside.

The bung on the tank is 20mm x1.5. (The OD of the threads actually measure 19.7mm) The ID of the threads on the nut measures 18.5mm.
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!
