Yamaha CS2-E removing chrome
« on: July 09, 2016, 02:06:44 AM »
Hey guys, how do you remove old chrome so forks can be rechromed? The chrome on my Yammies forks is beyond saving.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Most likely should look like this(a DS6 but still similar).  I would not spend the money to rechrome unless concors resto was my goal.  However, I am cheap ::)  Good luck with the Yammie Hush...Larry

If you take them to be re-chromed the chromer should be able to strip the old chrome prior to re-chroming.
