No power??

Just replaced the contact points and cleaned jets on my 1975 cb750 mostly stock. It ran okay before but now when I give it throttle I get no power. It's like it gets to a certain speed and that's it. It will shift sounds ok no back firing. No miss firing. Any ideas

Give it just a dab of choke - a little bit - when it does this and see if it runs better. If it does, you have a dirty carb - main jet or emulsion tube.
Recheck your points gap.

If you worked on points and condensers or fiddled with the carbs make sure it firing on all four cylinders. Wet rag touched on hot head pipes should make a good sizzle in a short run time. Is the timing spot on after working on the points ?

It only does this when I'm riding. I just tried to give it a little choke when it does it and that doesn't help any. Thank you tho

Just grabbed the pipes they're wrapped lol the two outside ones are really hot. The two middle ones are not I can hold on to them for longer then the outside ones.

May not be firing correctly on 2 and 3. One set of points does 1-4 the other 2-3 but you probably know that. If you worked on those be sure to check your timing also.
