I bought a new Diamond powersports 428 standard chain for a small Honda online and it came to me w/ no master/connecting link(Ebay  ::) )and I have spent time calling,Googling, looking online, etc. for a Diamond 428 master link...  I think if you asked me "have you tried this/them?" I probably have already..  ::)
I'm determined to find that Diamond brand.I drove to the local dealership here and we tried different ones but not a good fit;if it doesn't fit well you loose the spring clip very easily. Does anyone on the forum here have one ?
The search is on.. I will find one somehow

If you or anyone ever consider trying another brand, bring a mike to check pin size...they vary between brands.

thanks Frank,that's a good idea.
I spent a couple hrs.  ::) online last night and FINALLY found a supplier on Ebay who has exactly the Diamond 428 clip style master link I need !  :) He shows "more than 10 avail."
I ordered 2 today and got'em for $4 ea. including shipping, they're coming from RI. They are the only ones I could find and glad I kept looking. Good news !

They have a couple Diamond 428 powersports standard chains on there too in purple boxes,I'm glad I didn't have to buy another complete chain just to get the missing masterlink.I got the original 428 chain off Ebay also,I sent the seller a message after getting the chain and told him it didn't have a master and he gave me a full refund including shipping($18).. I think the guy knew it didn't have a master and sold it that way anyway.. He probably got it from a dealership who stole the master out of it to use for another one,it's my guess.
