Got plenty of Carbs in my diet
« on: August 20, 2016, 03:53:32 PM »
Well I bit the bullet.  Picked up two banks of keihin 022A carburetors for my future build needs.
BUT - these 75 supersports has 069A carbs.  Ever so slightly different.
So I'm thinking this is what needs to happen to make the adaptation happen.

Check compatibility with supersport intake runners for spacing, assumably, airbox boots will also line up.  Fingers crossed.

069A's are equipped with 100 mains.  I havent disassembled my new loot yet, but I think I recall 022A's having smaller jetting.

Ya'll think I'll have any luck with these carbs?

022A, 069A, and 087A (all of these being the earlier 550 carbs and the 77F carbs) are all virtually identical. The only differences are needle and jetting sizes from what I've researched. You should be fine running the 022A's, just jet accordingly.
