I will say though, if you're going to ride a Harley - best to have a good, reliable 750 Four motivating it. I bought the 1st 2004 Sportster in my area. They advertised it with it's 120 changes and 1st ever "rubber mounted" engine. 1 month after buying it brand new I hated it, 8 months after buying it I sold it with 2,200 miles for $50 less than I'd paid for it. Goes to show 2 suckers fell for the junk.

My beef was with the clutch and transmission. It would "clunk" so hard when going into 1st that I feared something was going to shear off inside. The transmission just never followed comand, it was hard to shift up and down, the bike shook worse than a 650 Yamaha, and had almost no ground clearance. I live in the mountains and turns are my passion. I'd bought it to put around on, it was relatively cheap (for a Harley) and it looked good in all black. Too bad the engineering improvements weren't incorporated in any of those 120 changes.

the only thing on the bike thats honda is the engine?  should run better than a Harley then

the engine does look a little small in that frame,   makes it easier to work on I guess

Man, I wouldn't ride that thing with a stolen ass...should have a barf bag dispenser mounted on the fender for any poor bastard that happens to pass by and see it.  ;D ;D ;D

Makes me have a new appreciation for the cookie-cutter choppers I see riding around though.

In some sort of bizarro way, I like it.  I wouldn't ever consider riding it, though.

looks like it was built "improv" style.  no schematic or even a mental plan, just weld #$%* together until it vaguely resembles a bike
