I like the Shoei bags from the 70’s too. Just bought this set and can’t wait to see them.

What I really like about the fairing is I’m hopeful to make it detachable. I hope to be able to leave my stock front lights on the bike and be able to detach the fairing.

Making the saddle bags detachable should be easier with a lot of options. Between Saddlemen and Harley I’ll find what I want.

Has anyone done a detachable fairing for a CB750K? Any suggestions are most welcome.

Once I receive them I’ll have a better idea of what I’m getting in to..

Well, that was fun.  Thanks to Danny for making this happen and to all that showed up. It was great meeting some friends and acquaintances again and making new ones. Combine that with a great ride to and from, there isn't much more to ask for.

Here are some photos in no particular order, along with three videos at the end, including Jerry's start up vid.

GZ 1 and the Pimposaurus stripped of his finery.  I thought about asking Wilbur if he would like me to take Lefty to the gathering, but I never followed through.  Too bad.

Some moving pictures with a little comic relief.

Bumping this post, as hopfully it will include the videos with Frank..

I didn’t get to hang out much because I was only there for the day, but Frank was one of those guys you can never forget.  Sorry to hear about his passing.

Frank you will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends. Their grief will be long as Frank was a character and wonderful man. Really enjoyed chatting with him over the past few years the few times we did.

When I built an 836 K0 for a friend, Frank made me (without solicitation!) a trio of K0 side cover emblems for the bike that were perfect copies of the K0 emblem, but had "836" on them instead of "750". I still have the odd one, reminds me of his generous spirit. Will miss him!

I was at Sturgis the week before and my gl1000 began making a shhhhhhhhhh bearing noise, my car club wanted me home friday for our car cruise, (something about paying bills) so I wussed out and went home. I still have regrets.  I also remember envying the K0 836 emblems.
And the GL still has the noise.

Did anyone who made it to the Dolores Reunion not buy a Reunion Patch from Mooshie and would like one? I wasn't able to make it and I had bought a patch. If you didn't get one and would like one, PM me your details and it's yours for the cost of postage. I will make an envelope able to handle the sorter without getting shredded and lost. You put a layer of 3M good packing tape over the envelope everywhere except where the stamp will go and if your layer it right it doesn't add a lot of weight while it keeps the machine sorters from ripping it open. That's my trick for making an envelope more durable...
