New coils and one still doesn't work
« on: September 09, 2016, 03:37:36 PM »
Hey guys I'm new to the forum. I'm having a problem with my nighthawk 650. I wasn't getting spark on one coil so I tested it and it was low so I bought 2 new ones and now I still have the same problem. What can I check next and how do I go about checking it? Thanks I appreciate the help

Going by your username, you have an '84 Nighthawk? DOHC model?

Use a voltmeter to check power going to the coil?
