If they could put it on a diet and make it 455 lbs wet, it would be a good start.  Why in the world does it need to be so stinkin' heavy?
and the horsepower so mediocre...ekpent, you know what your bandit 12 hundy weighs?
If it works good, it looks good...

At least it's simple enough to unleash the potential of a fuel injected motor.  They have computer programs for it!

I've read around 530 lbs full of gas and oil wet so it is a little bit of a porker. Seems about the same as a cb750 to roll around though.

They need to try harder.  ::) Maybe take a page our of BMWs playbook.
BMW took their RnineT model, and went better.
The PURE and the HERITAGE

That white BMW is nice, really nice.  I don't normally go for bikes styled like that - but I'll make and exception for that.

I think the "Racer" (BMW R Nine T with fairing) is priced to be cheaper than or the same as the regular R Nine T.  It's a bummer though that they went with the cheaper conventional forks versus the USD forks that come with the regular R Nine T.  And they went with cheaper brake calipers, too.   :(

Maybe a lighter 750 version would sell better? A heavy 1100 seems like a chore to ride around in town. And it's not quite equipped for hiway cruising. This CB1100K doesn't have much of a purpose.

And what's wrong with Guzzis!?!?!  8)

Honda has the ability to make a great inline 750 motor, but not for a limited appeal bike like this one.  I agree that a lighter bike with an inline 750 or even 800 with lots of torque would sell better.

Hard to say. the newer Bonnie is a big seller, the Guzzi V7 Stone does OK according to our local guzzi shop, but the Kawi W650 never sold enough here to keep it in production and then the newer W800 never hit our shores. I guess us Americans are fickle! :)
